To those who don't like the ending it's partially because the COURAGE PAWNCH wasn't exactly clear. There are two forms of madness that bring you away from fear. That is insanity where you don't realize the fear around you or you accept the fear. Or there's courage where you fight against the fear. So in the end, it was insanity versus courage. When Maka mentioned everyone has it in them, it meant everyone has courage in them. He mentioned that courage is the same as insanity in the realization that it brings you away from fear as an alternative to insanity. He was always a coward because he had little courage or didn't understand courage which is the same as to fear. Stein never realized this which is why he is still somewhat weak and Black Star, Kid, and Maka are considerably strong and getting stronger. As they faced the fear or Asura the demon god, they're couraged increased as well as their power and focus. I'm guessing that there's another set of rules around here.

Witches aren't surrounded by insanity. They just act insane but in actuality, they're enemy is the Demon God. Arachnaphobia simply tried to take advantage of it and was destroyed as the end result.

Masters always have more courage than a demon.
Demons don't necessarily have more insanity than a master.
Asura was not a demon, he was originally a master just like Maka, Black Star and was raised by Shinigami-sama (Grim Reaper). But he proved to lack so much courage that he turned to insanity for a scape goat.

I'm still confused as to why The Reaper bound his soul to the location and why he didn't kill him in the first place. Perhaps a background story?

There better be another fuckin' season. I hate manga, not enough adrenaline.

Thanks guys! Ah but the huge files are killing my dl limit. Why do I even have such a thing?! Why do fansub groups don't consider that? >_<;
